Geotextile Fabric is any permeable textile material used to increase soil stability, control erosion, or aid drainage. If it is made of fabric and buried in the ground, it is probably a geotextile! Geotextiles can be woven, knitted, or non-woven. Different polymers and manufacturing processes result in various geotextiles suitable for various civil construction needs.

Non-woven geotextiles resemble a black felt and provide permeable water flow. They are commonly known as filter fabrics, although woven monofilament geotextiles can also be called filter fabrics. Typical applications for non-woven geotextiles include aggregate

drains, asphalt pavement overlays, and erosion control.

A woven geotextile is a non-permeable textile structure that interlaces two or more strands at right angles. There are two types of strands: flat slit films; and round monofilaments. Woven geotextiles are used in places where more strength

for ground stabilization is needed. We have a large inventory of all varieties of Geotextile Fabrics for whatever your job site requires.

Compost Filter Sock

A compost filter sock is a new alternative to any silt fence or perimeter control device. Designed to address stormwater runoff and erosion, our filter socks serve the dual purpose of filtering water flows and preventing further erosion from the site. Compost socks have been used along concrete job sites, parking lots, and job sites where erosion control is required. Compost socks are constructed of polypropylene netting and are filled with wood shavings and compost. Compost filter socks come pre-palleted in 8”, 12”, 18”, and 24”.

Erosion Control Blankets

Erosion control blankets are an innovative solution to all forms of soil erosion control. They are designed to cover the area suffering from erosion and protect the soil from washing away and eroding. Their open weave allows new plantings to breathe while supporting and

covering bare soil areas from further exposure. They also stabilize the soil enough to allow rooting plants like trees and grasses to take hold and rejuvenate the soil — all while ensuring animals can’t feast on your seedlings. And since they’re built with natural and biodegradable materials, there’s no need to remove a blanket. It will decompose and add to the soil’s nutrients and minerals. They come in many applications and styles, from Straw, Coconut, and synthetic netting. We have whatever application your job calls for in our inventory.

Inlet Protection and Sediment Control

Erosion and Sediment Control products, such as Inlet Protection Silt Sacks and Geotextile Dewatering Pump Bags, are aimed at controlling sediment and erosion of soils and contaminants from leaving the job site entering our vital waterways and ecosystems.

Gabion Basket Erosion Control

Gabion Baskets are galvanized steel, double twisted, woven wire mesh filled with stone and used for various applications, including retaining walls, slope paving, outfall structures, weirs, drop structures, and stream bank protection.
